Gamers take on the role of the gifted hacker Aiden Pearce as he uses his skills to manipulate an open-world version of Chicago in Watch Dogs. A giant network of computers known as the Central Operating System (CtOS) connects and monitors the entire city, from traffic lights and surveillance cameras, to the cell phones and personal computers of private citizens. As a younger man Aiden's affiliation with the criminal underworld led to his niece's death, so when he learns his family may be in danger again, he uses his expertise to hack into CtOS and hand out vigilante justice.<br><br>Watch Dogs lets players explore Chicago in a variety of ways, with Aiden walking the streets, entering buildings, using mass transit, and driving more than 65 different vehicles. Aiden has access to the CtOS from his smart phone, meaning an average walk can include him altering traffic lights to cause accidents, tapping into surveillance cameras, or getting detailed personal information on pedestrians, including access to their bank accounts. Players are free to use this power in any way they wish, creating havoc in the streets and leading police on fruitless high-speed chases, or stealing from the rich and using a computer to fight criminal activity from miles away. While using stealth is one of Aiden's specialties, he's also quite adept with a baton, and gamers can wield more than 30 different firearms.<br><br>The single-player campaign in Watch Dogs is structured in much the same way that Ubisoft's open-world franchises Assassin's Creed and Far Cry are, with players heading to a central location in each of the city's districts in order to unlock a variety of side missions, mini-games, and collectible items. The game also includes several multiplayer modes, including an eight-player free roam mode, car and boat races, and an asynchronous mode in which gamers attempt to hack one another without being detected.

Virtual Chicago filled with lots of content
Exploring the virtual Chicago for the first time,very exciting. Beautiful city filled with life,and content as the title says. The main story for me is very exciting,action-packed,and it includes serious questions about our privacy,and the place of IT filled in the field of politics,society,economy and other. The hacking in the game is very interesting,you can hack many things to make sure that the technology is on your side,it's very useful especially when the police forces are in pursuit. While exploring this huge city you have to take on many enemies so you have to arm yourself and the best place for it is the Gun Shops. There are several categories:handguns,machine guns,shotguns,grenade launchers,submachine guns,and sniper rifles. These weapons aren't so cheap so you have to complete missions,side-missions or you have to hack people's phone to access their credit card balance. To have a full enjoyment in this game,to be able to access all kind of content,you have to liberate CTOS Control Centres,Towers,so you have full controll of the city. These missions were my favourites packed with little puzzles and sometimes shooting or silent killing. Verdict:this is the second time I bought this game,firstly at the reveal in 2014 for my PS3,and this was the second time,and it was a completely different adventure. It uses the WII U's GamePad in clever ways,you can play the entire game in the GamePad,or while playing on the main screen you can see and use the minimap. For me,this was a good game,but it has small negative things like you can't shoot while you drive or the cars' physics wasn't the best I've ever seen,or you can't customize your guns,so because of these I give a 4 stars rating,absolutely reccomend buying it for any WII U owner,especially because it's the only GTA-like game in the system not mentioning the Assassin's Creed 3 or 4. If you didn't play this game then it is the perfect time to buy it and for this price it was a gift for me.

Awesome!
I bought this game for my nephew for his birthday. He's really loving it. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that the camera shakes a little bit for the first few seconds after getting into a vehicle, but it's a great game, otherwise.

Terrible game Great Multiplayer
The Gameplay of Watch_Dogs is so dull and unrefined but if you can force yourself through it far enough to unlock the multiplayer you are in for a treat gotta love that hide and go seek.

Great WiiU game!
I really enjoyed this on PS4 and i think it is even more fun o Wii U. I oike the gamepad implementation, and i am really impressed with how well it stacks up to that version. I actually think this is a hidden gem on the system.

Great port
The Wii U version is great. Fun and unique usage of the gamepad. Really a wonderful unique gameplay experience. If you haven't played this game I would say the Wii U version is the way to go. Even if you have played it before, playing with the gamepad is worth a reply. Definitely recommend
