In Pac 'n Roll, players use the DS stylus and touch screen to guide a rolling Pac-Man as he moves through the dangers of Ghost-Land on a quest to save his family and friends. Progress through the 3D platform levels is displayed in the top screen, but players control Pac-Man's speed and direction by poking and dragging on a large, cartoonish image of him that appears in the bottom screen. This hands-on control scheme is designed to offer immediate, precise manipulation of the rolling hero, so players will be challenged to make tricky twists, quick stops, and hairpin turns in order to collect pellets and deal with enemy ghosts. As a bonus, an emulation of the original Pac-Man arcade game is also included, complete with two-player support.Product Identifiers

Best Pac-Man game, hard recommendation
This game was awesome. Everything from the unique controls and solid gameplay, this is the best 3D Pac-Man title by far. Pac-Man is controlled on the touch screen like a track ball, and while I thought this would be a pain to use, it ended up feeling way better than the Wii version. The stages are expertly designed around the game's mechanics. Unlike what I though, the version in Namco Museum Remix/Megamix is not a replacement for this version. The controls are something that really makes the experience, along with the extra stages and story you get.
