Restoring a Ham Radio Legend.
The SB-220 is still one of the best linear amplifiers used in ham radio even after 40 years. With patience, a lot of troubleshooting, and some hard earned cash the documentation and some parts are still available to make these diamonds rock solid again. With a new set of tubes they can exceed legal limits for ham radio (1500 watts output). Learning the different parts of the box and being able to solder is an absolute must. Work horse. Easy to work on.
