Stylish Dollhouse Family
This is a nice looking family for a child's dollhouse. The facial features are "realistic" and nicely detailed. I have been searching the internet for reasonably priced dolls for the dollhouses I am building and the price for this family was the best I found. Since I have purchased several dolls of the 1:12 scale category I can say that the clothing on this set is much nicer than most of the others I have collected. I cannot give comments about the playability of the dolls, but they certainly look like they would stand up to a child's play. Nice dollhouse dolls for the price
Looks exactly as pictured. Nice detail on faces and the hair. It is mostly what I expected. Ideally, the clothes would be better-made, and the dolls would be more flexible. But for the price, I’m very pleased to find these, as African American dollhouse dolls are in limited supply. I also bought the Caucasian Melissa & Doug set, and earlier, two Caucasian Hape dolls, which are jointed, so more flexible, but entirely plastic. I bought these for an 8 year-old girl of mixed racial heritage. African American Doll House Family - Just What I Was Looking For!
Unfortunately, there are not many African American items like this. I hunted all over and what I did find was way overpriced. On EBAY I was able to get this Victorian Doll House Family for my biracial Great Grand Daughter. I was so happy and so was she.
