An excellent historical adaptation
If you have any interest in British history I ca n certainly recommend this title. Very well made, not tacky, excellent performances, costumes. A good running time for the money as well. You can learn something, be entertained and it's completely painless. Give it a watch. I really must give it my highest recommendation.

interesting take on the wars of the roses.
some excellent acting and generally well scripted; overall it was favourable to the often maligned richard 111 but unfortunately, due to the emphasis on love interest, did not cover his great legal reforms and concepts such as "blind justice."

Brillient period drama
I bought this for my wife Xmas, she loves it particularly having all the episodes. Each DVD has 3 episodes and you can select which to watch by menu.

The White Queen
An enjoyable miniseries of Elizabeth Woodville, through her marriage to Edward after Towton, her children, and the conflict of that period. Based on Phillipa Gregory's book of that title, this production is lavish, well scripted, and the film locations in and around Bruges and Flanders elevates the realism of this period. Highly recommended for those seeking historical drama based on actual events.

A must for history buffs
A first class production ,excellent acting. A real eye opener showing the brutality of this period in history but compulsive viewing.exceptional alum for money with up to 10 hours viewing.

Historically acurate and well-acted DVD.
An excellent depiction of Philippa Gregory's book of this subject, altho' the sound track leaves a lot to be desired. Too much whispering!!
