Crisp images from a fast prime
I love this lens which has taken me back to a previous era of photography. I have it fitted with an adapter to either my Fuji XE-1 or XT-1 mirrorless camera. You have to do a bit more work with the manual focus, but the results can be very pleasing. (Also remember to dial in the focal length in the EXIF data). Focus peaking helps in both these cameras. It took a while to get the settings right but in the end changing either the ISO or the shutter speed usually got me in the right ball park. Then the composition - here with the fixed 50 mm prime I find myself moving around more to ensure that the image is correctly located and the background uncluttered - with my Canon gear and autofocus, I would have relied much more on post-processing. I'm delighted with this lens which feels sturdy, well-built and appears to have excellent glass. Some of the images I'm getting are very sharp.

Good price for used zuiko 50mm 1.8
Item has more scratches than can be seen in the pictures, but I haven’t tested it yet to see how it affects pictures

Lovely Manual Focus Lens
This is a great 'retro' lens - well built and feels solid when attached to the camera Produces nice sharp images through the aperture range

exactly what I wanted. it's a little scratched around where the lens cap attached, but that's clearly from use; in every other way it looks great!

50mm f1.8 Olympus lens
The lens arrived sooner than expected is super condition, and was in lovely condition,. Initial tests how it to be sharp and clear. It is every bit as good sd i remember! I cannot recommend this seller highly enough! Well done!

Sharp image, smooth acting, a joy to use
This lens has been the mainstay of the Olympus basic lens range. It is sharp, light, and an absolute joy to use. Purchased to join my recently acquired Olympus OM – 2 The combination I could not afford in my younger days – I hope to grow old with them!

Olympus Nifty Fifty
Great little lens, very sharp, especially at f5.6 -8.0. fits my adapter to Fuji xf and saves me buying the very expensive Fuji f2 50mm.
