Petersons field guide to medicinal plants and medicines of eastern and central America
This guide is very serviceable, the pictures are well done although more close ups of leaves and root would provide easier sure identification. Would like to have some more variety also, however once again, very serviceable and of good value. I definately recommend it as a good starter reference. Yarrow Joe

Exceptional and very useful!
Exceptional and very useful! It's very easy to find the plant you are looking for because it's divided by color of the plant. It's also very helpful to have 2 indexes in the back, one for plants and one for the ailments-has lots of "little known info", just plain jam packed with good info. Most of the plants are pictured.

Beautiful field guide, Photos of all are clear and make ID easy. Peterson's field guides are the best. This one was brand new.

Finding edible plants.
This is a great guide to the identification to herbs and other useful plants from Nature. Full color, with descriptions and warnings. Ideal for learning about the great outdoors.

A Must Have Field Guide
This is a superb guide. I am making a leather cover for it so I can take it in my pack when I’m in the woods. I may buy another for my library.
