The Beatles followed up their debut film, A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, with this fanciful spy spoof. When Ringo adds a new ring to his collection, he's unaware of how important and dangerous this piece of jewelry is. On one hand, a religious cult considers it a sacred object and the wearer must become a sacrifice to their gods. On the other hand, the ring has magical abilities that hold the key to supreme power. Soon the boys from Liverpool are engaged in a slapstick and madcap chase round the world, as a crazed scientist, a pack of crooks, and several religious fanatics set out to capture the band. Watch for the English Channel swimmer who seems to be perpetually lost and appears in nearly every location. A film about an EPIC band that appealed to all ages.
Great for the whole family and especially the children who weren't around during the original release of this film. They get to experience what the younger generation experienced at that time. A band that led the way for all others to follow. Excellent film and audio quality produced for this blue-ray item. Definitely recommend blue-ray over other standard versions of this film, well worth the cost difference. Excellent fidelity during songs, especially, if you have a home theater system with a good quality amplifier. Lower end sound-bar systems should be acceptable as well. Best value, best outcome.
This classic film has to be seen several times to be appreciated. The humour is very subtle and the more you see it, the more you will find it funnier and see how clever it actually is. Great soundtrack, excellent cast too and in colour. Terrific on bluray. Quite different to 'A Hard Day's Night'. I like both films but 'Help' has a lot more going for it than it's predecessor. As a Beatle fan
Blu-ray is a plus, the picture as in video was pretty good, the audio, in particular the music was great coming through my dolby-atmos system that uses ten amplifiers and sixteen speakers. For a movie about a music group during the time, the filming was interesting, the plot weak and the acting very weak. Great movie!
I love this movie can't get enough of the Beatles. I used to own this on VHS but it wore out and I was over joyed that they now put it on Blu-ray also I love the extra added bonus that weren't on the original. Great movie! Timeless music!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great for young and old.

One of my favorite movies "HELP" starring the Beatles is a cult classic. Glad I could find it.
