Room on the broom is delightful!
I had seen Room on the Broom years ago on PBS. It was enchanting! It was fun! I loved it! I was lucky enough to see it again and I decided I had to have it! It was from UK and their DVDs won’t play here, so sadly No DVD. I did find Room on the Broom board book. My grandson lived it, but it didn’t have the delightful enchantment of the DVD. On eBay I found the plush story characters! I bought them all! I also have the broom figurine with everyone on board, they are moveable! Too cute! I haven’t shown my grandson the DVD yet, I want to have a special afternoon with the plushies and the DVD! I think this will be a classic!! I was happy to find Room on the Broom for my 4 year old granddaughter. She loves it so. I paid $35 for this DVD and when it come in it was new but had the sticker price of $6.99 on it. What a surprise! I would have felt better if they had pulled the sticker off before they shipped it. I must say that it is better than some of the prices that people are listing for this DVD it's ranging from 59 to $99 so I guess I'm blessed to only have to pay $35.00. Great DVD!
This is a wonderful adaptation of the book! A great resource as a follow up to reading the story with your child. The beautiful illustrations and the heartwarming characters are portrayed perfectly in the film. I bought it as a gift for my grandsons but love watching it myself.
