Near-definitive edition of the complete works of Edgard Varese!!!
These two cds, in resplendent Decca sound, include the complete works of Edgard Varese. Included are "Poeme Electronique" and "Deserts" with the electronic sound interpolations. The first work, when played on a video surround system with Dolby Surround Type II software, gives great surround expansion of the mixdown stereo tape from four channels. "The Present-Day Composer Refuses To Die"
