Great Features
I got this for a system to use for outdoor wedding ceremonies. The sound takes a little bit to dial in but it is surprisingly loud and the controls and features are great. I got the battery and it works great. I used to haul around 600 ft of extension cords to make sure I could power my gear outside. This is way easier and I use it for a bunch of other things because it is so easy to setup. Be Patient: Get the Bluetooth Going with Added EQ Feature! and more
Played with it the first night, was not all that stoked. Didn't really read the manual because it didn't come with one, so was having troubles with volume levels etc., but I downloaded manual from Mackie which made it a little easier. Next morning worked with it some more but still didn't like the Playback sound, and was having trouble with Bluetooth. Once I figured out you have to download App. then still having problems because of my lame phone....BUT when I got it going...SO much easier to work this little PA with Bluetooth and more features...LIKE BETTER EQ. NOW this little baby ROCKS! Like all new things we buy, you have to allow for the infamous "learning curve" and be Patient. So Thank You Mackie-Direct. Even my picky wife likes for it Karaoke now. A boom Box
Is ok for karaoke with family in your home, that's it, I don't understand why Mackei promotes a 20 watts Boom Box as PA system... They say it has 300 watts,Noooo true... Now if you want to use it as Karaoke speaker for your home or Bluetooth your phone at the beach PERFECT, but not as a PA system for your gigs... 300 watt claim is a joke. I know what 300 sounds like Makes the manufacturer look lame Cool features I use it every day
