M-Audio is my MIDI choice for USB interfaces!
This is a very simple to use, but effective USB to MIDI device. There are unbranded versions of this, and they do usually work O.K. for general MIDI devices, but the folks of M-Audio are one of the "Fathers" of MIDI devices. I am old enough to remember the die-hard makers, who would modify serial port cards to "roll their own" MIDI devices, back in the pre-dawn days of DAW's. MIDI is to serial ports what USB is to serial ports, just a bit more OS dependent and therefore a bit more "sloppy". The generic version, of this device can be a bit of a bear to configure away from OS assigned parameters, and most folks will not need to do this., but if you do, this IS the one you need. Just a note on my review...(above). I answered "No" to the question of Sound Quality. This is listed in the description, as a sound card in error. This is a USB to MIDI interface, the MIDI module attached to it is the device that makes the sound(s). This is a good unit and a great value.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
