Missing "Gurney Bubble" (!!!), but a great model of a MKIV at a great price.
One HUGE OVERSIGHT! No "Gurney Bubble". It astounds me that Shelby itself would release a model of its most iconic race car without it's most iconic feature! Even if it meant an additional production cost for one version of the MKIV, they should have coughed up the money. Without the Gurney Bubble this is NOT the winning #1 Le Mans car. Shame.

bang for your buck
This 1/18 scale GT 40 MKIV is a good bang for your buck. I am an accomplished model car builder and I could not start out with a kit, detail it, add photo-etched parts, decals, etc. and could not do it for this money. It is a static display and it represents a time when America was No. 1 in everything it did - from Ford winning Lemans in 66-67-68 and 69 with the GT 40 to the U.S.A. going to the moon in 69. It's a shame this item is only made in China and not in the United States of America, thank you.

Nice model
This is nice model! It evokes childhood memories given it was similar to a racing model I once owned. This is a metal model with lots of openings. Entertaining and nostalgic.

Worth it! Details at a great price.
For the price, it is very detailed and the shape is accurate. I would consider purchasing other products as well.

The Door # is Misaligned
The Shelby Collectibles 1:18 1967 Ford GT Mk IV #1 Red was disappointing. The top of #1 on the door does not line up with the bottom on the #1 on the side sill. I ordered two, both had the same problem. Only the hood, roof, doors and engine cover are die cast metal. Everything else is plastic.

Excellent reproduction of 1/18 Ford GT Mark IV
This diecast is nearly as detailed as the old Exotos but much more affordable.
