This is a great one in the Discworld series.
Carpe Jungulum (Sieze the throat) is book 12 of Sir Terry Pratchett’s 40 volume fantasy series on the doings within his Discworld creation. Pratchett is a master of satire, lampooning current culture and human idiosyncrasies of which every reader can identify. This book deals mostly with now four lovable witches, cosmopolitan vampires, six inch tall little men, and a host of supporting characters. If you’re new to Discworld, begin with MORT.
