Great HDD for AV use - rescued my failing Sky+ HD box with it.
Very happy with this 2TB Western Digital AV hard disk drive. I have used it to replace a failed HDD in my Sky+ HD box and it has worked perfectly, resurrecting a much valued set-top box from the scrap heap. I am particularly impressed with how smooth and quiet it is. Doing the replacement was a bit of a faff due to the way the Sky box (DRX895) is put together, However, it was well worth the effort (and cost) of replacing the HDD as Sky no longer support this type of box. This was important, as they have also stopped allowing your existing viewing card to be paired with a different box, so you either fix the box you already have, or are forced to go Sky Q or Sky Stream if it can't be repaired.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

WDs are my first choice . .. ...
Time will tell regarding reliability, however I've had LOTS of PCs and have only had issues with WD were drives have been badly treated as to regard to packaging / transportation! Others not so much. .. ...Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
