Best quality speakers for the money!!!
I had a monstrous system at the beginning of the 90's! I had purchased a set of these 301's back then and i ended up disconnecting my entire surround and just running these speakers, you don't need anything else. My amp ran 175watts per channel and these speakers handled them with no problems, at half volume its like they talk back at you saying, Im just starting to warm up! Unfortunately i cannot say the same about the newer generation, but if you're looking for a speaker system 5.1, 7.1 surround, don't complicate yourself with all the wiring involved, get a pair of these and thats it, you won't regret it.(By the way! The box speakers on the sides are only there for looks, i don't have them connected).

Bose 601 tweeters
