Fantastic Quality
Fantastic quality and sharpens pencils very well. I find other sharpeners unable to sharpen both my Polychromos and graphite pencils, whereas this one can. Tip for users: when using No 2 take your time and sharpen your pencil gently, it is quite easy to bteak them at this point

Versatile
Excellent pencil sharpener which was recommended by an online artist. I have had great trouble with pencil sharpeners in the past, but this one is wonderful! I chose the model which sharpens the wood separate from the lead, which makes for versatile use, as there are times when one needs a 'chisel' point, eg background filling in, rather than a real point for the actual drawing.

overall a very good buy!
I use Prismacolour pencils for drawing hair, this sharpener shapes the pencil into a very long sharp tip, using the first side to taper the wood and the second to produce a really sharp point. You can resharpen the point in the second hole several times before cutting into the wood again, therefore making the pencil last longer. There are also two more holes for sharpening the leads from automatic pencils. Overall a very good buy!

Good idea poor execution
The concept is good but while the product is aimed at artists it accomodates only the smaller office style pencils rather than the thicker pencils produced by most art pencil makers. It can be used by pre-sharpening the pencil but that rather defeats the object of the sharpener. The only drawing pencil I found that worked was the Pitt range certainly Conte and Derwent are too large.

Versatile sharpener, German quality.
The sharpener has 4 different sized holes. The addition of the uncommon 3.1mm was especially good. When I received this sharpener, I discovered that there is a set of two spare blades! allowing for extended life from this quality sharpener-I have never seen this before! Perfect.

Works very well, but there are two versions!
There are two stages to using this sharpener. First sharpen the wood in hole 1, then sharpen the lead in hole 2. Works very well. Note there are two versions of this sharpener, one version has an additional two holes and blades for sharpening the leads of clutch pencils such as staedtler. This also works well, but don't buy that version if you don't need those extras.

Handy and simple to use
I have found it easy to use and it really helps having two different size pencil inserts. It seems to be durable but I have not used it a great deal yet. Very neat - yes I would recommend it.

The best sharpener I ever bought
Sleek design, compact, sharpen very good and elongated sharp edges looks beautiful !!! Also has a handy feature- sharpening mechanical pencils, too !! Absolutely brilliant

Best pencil sharpener Iv used in years
It gives you a great point and more of the wood is turned off to give you better control over blending the shades. I wish I had got it years ago , it as Improved my drawing skill. Just too let you know I got two money well spent
