Not a toy, a quite nice scale model.
A nice scale model of an iconic fifties racing car. I would have liked to have seen a little bit more attention to the paintwork, especially around the front, I had to touch in a slight amount of yellow around the radiator intake, and I felt that the steering wheel could have had the rim painted to look like wood instead of plain silver. However for the money it is a beautiful little model and overall I am well pleased with it, especially considering the price. The seller described it very clearly, especially about the box being a bit tatty, but that doesn’t really bother me, I collect models not boxes! It came with a nice display case, (shame about ‘Brumm’ embossed on the top of it). It was sold as used, so I’m not trying to be picky, just objective, It comes over as more than a toy, but a little more attention to some of the finer detail would have raised the bar from really good quality model to a superb model.
