Don't buy cheap, buy Krisk.
Unlike cheaper versions of this slicer it's sharp and stays sharp. It makes the job of slicing beans really easy and a pleasure to do. Recommend to any kitchen....

Krisk The original and best bean slicer dont be tempted by cheap copies.
There are a lot of cheap copies of the Krisk bean slicer, all of them rubbish. The Krisk one works, sharp blades, quality construction, easy to use, will last years. The tool slices beans and removes the stringy edge from runner beans and has a small blade to cut off ends of beans.

A must have !!
Now the runner bean season is here again this is an absolute essential little gadget for stringing the beans. Saves so much time and is so easy to use. I had this gadget 2 years ago but unfortunately it got mislaid so did not hesitate to buy another one this year. I couldn't do without it. A brilliant kitchen utensil.

Krisk Bean slicer
I wouldn't be without this little gadget but there are certain things you must be aware of. The blades are very sharp so use it carefully, having said that, I've used it for years without injury. We like our runner beans small & tender. This slicer was really designed for French Beans. If you use big, chunky runner beans they are unlikely to pass through the aperture & you would probably be better using a conventional bean slicer.

Bean Slicer
This bean slicer is just what I wanted to slice my Runner beans to the slice sizes I wanted before freezing, If you have beans that need stringing this will work on them also, but I will be using mainly young beans. At the price it seems like it may last .

Only use Krisk made in Australia
Its an excellent tool. Works great with runner beans. Don`t use any other but Krisk. I bought a cheaper version and it was not up to it. I am not an agent for Krisk by the way.

Fabulous tool
I have had for years and bought this as a back up. Not had to use it because my 20yr old one is still as good as new! I grow a lot of runner beans and life would be much harder without this tool. Grow, harvest and Krisk them!

Best bean slicer I have found
Already owning a Krisk Bean Slicer for years, I bought one for a neighbour as a gift, plus another for myself, just in case I ever managed to wear out my old one. We grow a lot of beans but it just keeps on slicing.
