Iron Giant is based upon the 1968 story, 'Iron Man,' by the British poet laureate Ted Hughes. The film is about a giant metal machine that drops from the sky and frightens a small town in Maine in 1958, only to find a friend named Hogarth, that ultimately finds its humanity and saves the townspeople of their fears and prejudices.

Childhood classic
Such a great find with such a cool cover. Absolutely loved the movie, brought me back to my childhood.

A movie that all the family will enjoy
This is thoroughly entertaining directed at kids movie. My son who is mad on Robots loves it but I also enjoy watching it too. Great story line, engaging characters, entertaining, funny and teaches good values. A delight to watch a film that doesn't need swearing or over the top violence to teach kids about life and what is good in life.
