Great addition to my gardening equipment

I Hurt my right hand so I could only use my left hand, so I needed a smaller one handed held hedge cutter, I already had batteries off my drill etc so it was a no brainer to get this Makita hand held as my hedge was overgrown. Glad I did its not to heavy and cuts really well, haven't tried the grass cutter yet but if its as good as the hedge cutter great. Good for light work and keeping an existing trimmed hedge looking well kept.
Good for light work trimming hedges that are already in shape and you just want to keep them tidy. Can handle soft tender shoots like box or yew but it struggles with anything woody like holly. Changing from hedge trimmer to grass cutter is messy (greased parts) and a bit complicated as it has to be aligned. See a popular website for video on how to do it. Once you learn how it can be done in about 5 minutes. One big plus is it can be operated with one hand so great if your working at height on a ladder.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good value for money
Awesome little tool. Makita products are always top quality. Just be aware that you'll need a battery & charger which can be expensive. Batteries though are interchangeable with other Makita products such as strimmers & drills.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
