Good Red Dot Optic
The optic is easy to set up and zero. It has a good dot that workrs well with the type of sight it is. It is not a bad buy for the money. There are other red dots in the same categoty but they cost more.

Misses the mark of Leupold Optic Standards.
First, I'm all things Leupold. I carry Leupold products on duty, bird watching, hunting, etc. I consider their weapon mounted optics to be of the very best quality and of course made in the USA, not China! Sorry Vortex, you'll not get a penny out of me for your made in china scopes. I purchased this specific scope with the intent of installing on a duty issued AR10. Upon out of the box inspection, I found the dot to be very fuzzy or starburst in appearance, not a crisp point like the Deltapoint Pro. I called Leupold, and sent it back. Two weeks later the same RDS arrived with a repair slip. I happily turned the unit on and found no improvement in the sight. Same starburst issues. I called Leupold and described the issue to them in detail, but ended the conversation with that's just how they look. The problem was not just my eyes as others looked through the glass and found the same problem; very fuzzy dot, not crisp and precise. For this reason, I sold the sight and bought an ACOG; a much sharper image.

One Of The Best Red Dot Optics On The Market
One of the best Red Dot Optics on the market. Very well made as all Leupold products are. The clarity of the lens is excellent and the Red Dot is sharp and clear. The BDC works as advertised on this optic. The fit and finish is flawless. I would buy again.

Leupold Freedom RDS
This is my second purchase of the Leupold Freedom RDS and the sight is perfect for my AR rifles. Optics are excellent and allows me fast sight alignment.

It's OK for the money
Meh, nothing great. You can definitely tell that it's an economy model. Returned and got an Aimpoint Pro.

RDS for Pistol Caliber Carbines
Leupold RDS is a great option for my 9mm carbines. Works well on Beretta CX4 Storm and MSR platforms.
