Good for a reasonable price.
Overall a good piece of kit. Set up straight forward. Images are acquired and stored rapidly and are easy to transfer. Some slides jam in the holder guide so the guide has to be removed to free them - frustrating - but fault of the card surround slides rather than device. Useful and easy to move on when you have done all your slides and negatives.

Good quality, easy and quick to use
The resolution at 14mp is good, slides just push through manually so very easy and quick to use. Brightness and colour can be adjusted but to be fair that’s much easier to do with photo software. It needs a memory card to work at all, no real problem. I could not get a PC or Mac to find the device with the USB cable but easy enough to transfer photos by using the card. My only gripe is that I cannot set the date, time or slide capture name, minor problem really.

Decent but flawed
Very easy to use, instructions were easy to follow. Awkward to get film to sit right in viewer. I have a few photos in 10mm film and the light would enter in one side. Despite the film being in a holder it didn't sit square under device viewer. I got annoyed at having to remove the holder every time I needed to get to the next photo (35mm film), very tedious. On darker edged photos it's hard to tell when the photo ends and the film starts, turning up the brightness didn't help. I can't say how good the quality is in comparison to an actual photograph scanner though.

Generally good. Two faults could have been designed out
Just two faults.... 1) The resolution is not as good as I would have hoped. Ideally there would be an adjustable focus (but there is not). .... 2) The push-in plastic guide/tray for the slides ends up slightly in the wrong position with a black edge appearing on one side in every scan, whilst the other side is slightly cropped. A redesign would allow user adjustment to stop this. (But at least the cropping is minor, leaving the vast majority of the picture visible).

Good enough
In its category it works well. Not for professionals but good enough for decent results. very quick to install and to scan slide. Corrections to be done on the computer. Never tried with other formats e.g. super 8 films, I am afraid for that you need to buy a dedicated scanner.

Easy to use except for the thicker plastic slides.
Easy to set up and use. Only minor gripe is that the cardboard slides pass through the scanner very easily but the plastic ones do not and you have to lift the end of the slide holder to get the slide to pass through.

Convert slides to digital easily
really quick and easy to convert slides to digital , the quality is not great but for old holiday snaps to be seen again it is just the job. Also it can be hoocked up to the TV so slides can be fed through and seen on a TV screen. Some thicker plastic slides were constantly getting stuck in the holder but a tiny bit of shaving with a penknife soon solved the problem.

Easy and fast to use.
A great piece if kit, easy to use and does the job.. Side saving takes seconds with a slide through system means it's easy and fast to complete 25 slide a min. Would recommend.. JDR.

it does what it says on the box
I gave it 5 stars because it works. I am not expecting brilliant results because the negatives are extremely old. but it is really easy to use.
