This seems an excellent alternative to Microsoft Windows.
The only issue I had was that all the default backgrounds are dark which made everything difficult to read. As soon as I changed these to light coloured ones it was great. Once up and running on an old and low specification laptop, which had run Windows 10 very slowly, it performs very well. I have used Windows from Version 2, which came on a single 3.5 inch floppy disc as against the huge install for Windows 10. I look forward to weaning myself off Windows in the next few months. Quick , easy, works well.

Very good Linux Mint
