Great for "Grab and Go" Situations
Solid, sturdy, heavy duty seal to keep out dust and humidity for sure. I use mine to store coins. Great handle for carrying some weighty items. A perfect ammo and other storage box in every way!
High quality, durable and just what I wanted for an AMMO storage Box. This is a metal box that is painted in a very nice tan color. It has a lock mechanism that will keep out children and anyone that you do not want to see what is inside the box. You could use this to store private papers, cash and special small tools. Does the job well.
It's an ammo can folks, it's a dry place to store surplus ammo. Is there anything particularly "special" about this one, no. If I could change anything, it would of course be the price. A certain large chain "box" store carries a very similar product (only difference is the color) for around $13 bucks. Problem is, they run out frequently and I don't really like shopping there. These were made to store ammo for a reason!!
I use these when I need a safe and weather proof storage for my ammunition, I will purchase more as my inventory grows!! I intend to replace all my other ammo storage units with these, the plastic ones are ok but definitely not as durable and can not store as much..

Best storage box for anything
These are great boxes to store not only ammo but anything you want to protect from moisture. They are stack-able and take up very little floor space. Nice can
Color is a little lighter than I expected-though I'm not complaining, could be my screen settings... Nice build, smooth actions, great coating. Yes it cost about $8 more than the green Walmart ammo cans, but those are stiffer than a nun to open. These girls open up with they should, and close shop very fluently and lock tight...until you want it open again. Plan on painting a can? Buy the cheapy. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and heft of this product. It was much sturdier than I expected, the latch works well and smoothly even after I drilled a hole in it to install a lock, and the gasket looks to be of good quality. Ammo Storage Box Made Right!
Considering it for ammo storage, the seals are super tight. No risk of moisture or airflow penetration. The materials and construction is of highest quality, and should last longer than me. The collapsible handle is an excellent addition.. perfect for lifting and moving a heavy ammo cannister once it is fully loaded. Right now I have four 50-Rd boxes of different caliber ammo (9mm, .38SP, 45LC), one box of 12GA shotgun shells, and two WWII Double Pouches of 7.62 X 54R, and there is still plenty of space left. Great ammo can!
