Resurrected my Start 25
My Start 25 had taken to powering down at random intervals and without warning whether it was on external power or not and would sometimes not wake up without holding the power button for several seconds. This battery has restored it to normal operation, it's the same size and capacity as the original and was an easy swap, you just need a T6 Torx driver, a small Philips driver and a spudging tool and it's about ten minutes work. The TomTom now wakes as soon as it is connected to USB and only powers down when external power is removed. I haven't used the Satnav without the USB power connected yet so I don't know how long it lasts but the original was only good for shorter journeys so I'm not expecting miracles. The battery was delivered next day in a reusable blister pack inside a Jiffy bag, the only obvious difference from the original is that the original had a hard plastic case where the replacement is more like a typical Li-Poly package with a plastic sleeve. It has self-adhesive tape on one side to secure it in the Satnav case and the connecting cable is the correct length.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good replacement, does the job
This fitted fine, but care must be taken reassembling the tomtom to avoid impinging on the on/off switch as it snaps back together. If not exactly fitted part of the case activates the switch when the unit is flexed, I had to take it apart and redo. The battery seemed a bit erratic in holding charge initially, so it needs a long recharge before it works to full capacity.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

New Battery - New Sat Nav
I thought I’d try my hand at changing the dead battery on my Sat nav. This one did the job perfectly and holds its charge well. Has saved my Tom Tom Start
When the old battery died, my Tom Tom became erratic. It could not remember its destination and kept shutting down seemingly at random. Same as original battery. Easy to replace it.
My sat nav reached the point where it would last about 10 minutes off charge. The internal battery needed to be replaced as it reached full from empty within about 5 minutes of being plugged in. Clearly the battery was knackered. So I opened my sat nav up, checked the original battery model number and ordered this identical one. It came with the connector attached and it couldn't be simpler to fit. Done in about 10 minutes flat from start to finish. A good over night charge on a 12V 1.2A charger in the car gives me nearly the manufacturers' stated usage time of about 2 hours usage away from power. Breathe new life into old equipment and save yourself a fortune along the way. Highly recommended. See photo. Original battery on the right. Replacement on the left.

Great value but make sure you get correct one as many variants.
Easy to change if you follow YouTube vidio but get correct model as many variants. Did have to remove 2 very small lugs from case to get it to fit well. Need a star screwdriver to remove one screw behind ball socket on my model, then prise apart with PLASTIC lever. but some have 2 screws in base So far managed 2 hours battery life so quite pleasedBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
