exact fit and works great, like new now...
look up part on whirlpool site got their number and found this exact same one $40 dollars cheaper

Switch fixed water fill issue
Maytag washer - water wouldn’t fill. Changed this switch - now works perfectly. Arrived sooner than predicted. Three thumbs up.

no instructions on how to install this product, but you tube was quite helpful. It did take care of the issue if the washing machine.
