Lack of color photos
You'd think that with a cookie book made from a reputable flour company that they would have made the formatting with pictures of each cookie alongside the recipe. In that respect, it you're not a baker with some sense of imagination, it makes it difficult to visualize how appetizing the cookie will look like. Very disappointed King Arthur!! Had I gotten the chance to thumb through the book prior to purchasing.... I would NOT have bought it!! I, as most people, am a visual chooser of Christmas cookies for my holiday baking plan.
