All one has to do is pull on the righting line and it will stretch to maximum length. The righting line will snap back around the pilons on a 14 or 16. I have owned over 25 Hobie Cats and have serviced even more!

Works great!
Easy to install and super strong! Looks to be very well made and should last a long time. A lot better than the old righting lines.

Hobie Righting Line
Easily attached to my Hobie 16, have gone sailing with it a few times does not drag in the water. I have not flipped the boat to test the righting of the boat.
