il Postino
I love this movie. I had to buy it to watch more often. It has the option of English and Korean subtitles as this particular DVD came from Korea. I played it right away as I know some players from other countries are different than those in the US, but it played fine. No problems. Il Postino is about a common man who enlists the help of a renowned poet to help him express himself to the woman he loves. The man, a reluctant Neruda, is a controversial figure due to his political views, which the postman happens to share and soon the two form a bond of friendship. Film awesome film quality horrible

Heartwarming Story
I loved this movie. I learned a little about the actor who played the postman in the movie which added to the poignancy of this film. It's funny in a very warm, subtle way. The acting is superb and if you read about Triosi and what happened to him in real life after this movie was made it will help you to appreciate it even more. Phillipe Noiret (Pablo Neruda) did a beautiful job as the compassionate poet who learns just as much about life and true friendship as did the shy and "inexperienced" postman who looks to him for wisdom and "inspiration".Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
