Lightweight and simple
I would like to see the symbols on the front be a bit more obvious for those w/ sight or memory problems. Pairs easily and does not interact w/ the same brand controllers in the other rooms. Remote was faulty & no Seller support.
After properly programming the remote, it affected the operation of the rest of the ceiling fans in the house. Tried reprogramming all remotes in the house (including this purchased remote) separately/repeatedly & this purchased remote continued to operate & override all other remotes, like a master remote. Basically made all previous remotes in the house useless. Attempted twice to get support & guidance from Seller w/o any response. Not good products or Seller response/resolution. Great system, but if you're looking for just the remote, read my review.
I ordered this set for the purpose of getting just the remote. I have this controller installed on my ceiling fan, but the battery clip on the remote broke off and short of cutting the plastic apart, there's no way of soldering it back on. I tried to get the new remote to work with my existing system, but it doesn't. Looks the same. Remote has same buttons. It wouldn't sync up!!! So I pulled the ceiling fan apart and installed the controlled from the new system. Voila, it works! But, there's a difference. This one doesn't have a dimmer for the light. I guess that's why the remotes weren't interchangeable. So, it took me an hour extra to change the controller. And I lost the light dimmer function.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

worthless at this time
It does NOT work. I have verified that it has power. The fan and the light worked until everything stopped working a while ago which is why I purchased the remote. The new remote battery is also good. Where do we go from here?Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

WON'T SYNC TO CEILING FAN
I have previously had this remote and it worked final although not designed very well. Grand daughter lost first remote so I bought another one with the promise it would have no difficulty sync with the existing ceiling fan. Followed all of the directions. OEM replacement

Easy Wireless Conversion
I bought a Hunter fan, that had the wireless set-uo. The remote did NOT work well. At first I thought it was the battery, so I bought a New battery, same issue. I took battery cover off and looked closely at it. The weld on terminal was the issue, so I bought Crazy glue and attempted to repair. It did NOT work. So had I just got the replacement it would have saved time and money. It took me less than 5 minutes to replace. I had to replace the receiver as well due to signal. "Universal" remote controller is not universal.
