Easy to apply and lasts for years.
Sadolin Superdec is easy to apply and is self priming and undercoating. Being water based, cleaning up is easy with just water. The manufacturer claims 10 years protection and this is no exaggeration if the surfaces are properly prepared and clean before painting. I have just painted my woodwork for only the 3rd time in 27 years. Excellent endurance with minimal preparation.
This was a second treatment to bare external wood (a feature porch). It has been quite a few years since the first, following constructing the porch myself. The original treatment was still in sound condition and this retreatment was applied with the recommended (and minimal) preparation. Great all round paint
