I LOVE San-J!
If you - like me - have gluten issues this amazing liquid has the power to give you back some Asian foods. Unlike some other brands I've tried there is no difference in taste. So, if you can follow a recipe and learn a few techniques you can learn to make some of your favorites. You may need to find some additional products, but it's so worth it! And this value size? Yay! LOVE

Wonderful Base for All Sorts of Oriental Cooking and Sauces
San-J Black Label Tamari Sauce is a wonderful version - wheat free - of traditional soy sauce. It is savory with a remarkable depth of flavor. I first found it when I worked in the health food industry and have been using it ever since. Don't be surprised if you throw out your regular stuff for this. There is simply no comparison with cheap commercial soy sauce.

It has a nice less salty flavor..lately tamari has risen in price and is not readily available

Top quality shoyu
I much prefer the San-J shoyu to the more pervasive brand, this is a cleaner. less salty tasting soy sauce.
