I blew it, literally!
No information came with this machine, particularly regarding the voltage difference - and how to convert this. I bought an America to U.k. adaptor connected it - and blew the machine. I now have a dead machine! I bought it to replace my faulty deck. I only hope I can salvage parts to use as spares.
