A great all around printer!
I had this printer before, purchased around 2014. When the print head failed, I investigated fixing that, or buying another one. I opted to search out another one just like my previous model. While on the hunt for another HP 6600, I purchased an Epson printer from Walmart, the tank model, and I could tell with the first printed sheet that it wasn't as clear, sharp or color intense. I was not happy with it at all. There were also lines through the prints. I thought "operator error" and messed with different settings etc, but it just did not have the crispness I was used to. I use my printer to print out photos of my artwork so clearly, they have to be great quality photos. I'm so glad I found one, NIB, for a reasonable price. They can get awfully expensive, so clearly I am not the only one who appreciates these printers. There probably are other, good quality printers out there- but this one is familiar to me and I am sticking with it.

so far so good
Everything appears to work however it makes noises the 6600 I had previously did not make. I am concerned it may break down as it sounds like it is working hard to WORK But it could last for years without more than funny noises. IT WORKS Was really packed well and shipped quickly
