Great little fan
I used one of these in my small custom-made NAS4FREE device to provide some extra cooling in a tight space and this fan did the job well. I had my first one installed and running constantly for over 5 years. It may not be the quietest fan as you can hear it especially when it powers up for the first few minutes, but I really don't mind as it does the job well. I took my case apart after 5 years and replaced the fan with a new one to ensure optimal cooling. The fan was still operating and I've cleaned the dust off and saved it for a backup. My WD green hard drives ran perfectly for over 5 years as well so to me that's an indication that the fan was keeping things adequately cool. When replacing the fan with a new one, I also installed WD red NAS drives and plan to keep this setup for another 5 years.
