The good stuff
I’m a big fan of Mountain House meals. They are easy to pack, relatively light weight, and I have found them to be quite tasty. They provide a good bit of calories and energy after a long day hunting in the mountains. Obviously, the price has gone up recently but there’s not really any other brand of dehydrated trail food such as Mountain House that I would consider buying.

Trusted brand.
Box remains unopened as it to be stored for emergencies. I’ve never had cause to complain about products bought from mountain house in the past. I plan to order more in the near future.

Mountain House, Freeze Dried Yummy
The meals are second to none in the freeze dried world. The packaging is well thought out for outdoor applications, offering a flat, stable surface area on the bottom, enabling the package to stand on its own while pouring in hot water.

Mountain House Rocks!
Right off not everyone has the same taste. I LOVE the Beef Stew, Rice & Chicken, and Beef Stroganoff. Chilimac was OK, as was the Lasagna, and Chicken Teriyaki. Granola was excellent, Biscuits and Gravy were OK, Breakfast Skillet was very good. I highly recommend you find single packets to try before you buy a case . Cases do come in assorted sizes with mixed contents. For camping they can't be beat. Boil some water and pour it in the pouch, wait 10 minutes and chow down. The only cleanup is the utensils you eat with. Easy-peasy, generous portions, Take up very little room and are very light. Try them, you won't be sorry!

Great Taste & Great Value
To me Mountain House is the best freeze dried food out there. All the menus are great tasting. The ease of preparation is a big plus. Great food for backpacking, camping or for emergency use. A meal kit is a great way to get a variety at a good price.

Mountain House Emergency Food is old reliable campers and hikers have used for long time.
Great reviews, appears lower salt content for most meals and shipped fast.

Good until 2050.
Has a different varieties than other purchases, seemed a little pricey. I have until the year 2050 to try it out.
