A High Quality Model Kit That Actually Goes Together and Operates Just Like You Hoped It Would
I am a retired car lover who still likes to build and display model cars and engines. I built a Visible V-8 engine model by Revell many years ago, and remember having a few problems with parts fitting, and all of the plastic cement needed to hold it together. Building this model, by contrast, was a wonderful experience, with precision molded parts made of very high grade plastic which fit well. Moreover, No Glue is used-everything goes together with one size of philips head screws, which makes for an easy and solid build. Every part is numbered, and the step by step instructions are clear and easy to follow. Even assembling the working valves and camshafts was not difficult, and the timing tool made timing the engine to fire the spark plugs relatively straightforward. This Haynes model was worth every penny, and I encourage builders to purchase the Haynes Build Your Own 4-cylinder engine version of this model as well!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Haynes Visible V8
Newer version of the earlier Renwal Visible V8. Overhead cams and fuel injection. Plus, the engine model incorporate batteries to run the engine (no hand crank like on the later versions of the Revell Visible V8. Great instructions and fun to build! Great product. Well fitting and fun!

Very Realistic!
I think this is the best visible V-8 model on the market today. Easy, but not too easy. Good instructions. I like the fact that this kit includes lights that act as spark plugs. The old Revell visible V-8 used to, but they did away with it. For what it is worth, this engine is more realistic with it's OHC, and timing belt. Simple instructions

A very detailed look at the mechanics and development of Upkeep and the big bombs. Their is a chapter for each bomb. A concise history of the use of each these bombs in combat. A complete list of Operation Chastice crews and their ultimate fates. A complete list of 464 Provisioning Lancasters and their fates. Also a complete list of Lancaster B.1 "Specials", their missions, and the ordnance that they dropped on each mission. A list of locations where you can view reproductions or actual examples of Upkeep and the super bombs.
