OEM original OMC product There is no substitute.
This is an original OMC lawnBoy part for which no substitute exists. When the original that was fitted to the carburetor fails, the carburetor is almost completely non-functional and fuel mixtures cannot be regulated in a reliable manner. The engine wont run right without this item being functional. On the bright side, average life of the component exceeds 30 years. Excellent Replacement Part!
I have a 1975 Lawn Boy 5024 Bricktop with the D433 engine that started running rough and at only about half speed. Traced it down to the primer assembly leaking and basically flooding the engine while running. After replacing it, my little green machine is back up and running perfectly on the first pull. Love mowing with my old Lawn Boy 2 strokes!
