Not the best fit for 7.63X25 ammunition
This specific product (Stamped DWM) fit my C-96 firearm perfect; however, Mauser PPU 7.63X25 ammunition fails to slide down rails without becoming dislodged prematurely from the rails; ammunition casing fit is too loose within the stripper rails. I had to "adjust" the stripper rail width with a pair of small channel lock pliers. For this reason, I do not recommend this product for this size ammunition. it is OK if you're willing to modify/adjust it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Some Issues (but work-able)
The stripper clip would not fit my ""gun opening"" or ""hold bulets"" (as it was received - when I got it). Yet, after a little careful adjusting by squeezing/closing the throat gap with vice grips. c96 mauser stripper clips
I had to do some light filing on the ends of these stripper clips to get them to fit into the stripper clip guide but once I did that they fit and functioned very well. Good quality
The clips are of good quality but further searching led to other deals where I bought 8 clips for half the price I paid for these two. Fits and Works perfectly like a genuine DWM accessory should!
From first look, it is clear these are genuine DWM products. Finish is not mirror-chrome, but neither should it be. No signs of ever peeling or flaking. Spring tension is perfect for the job of holding a rack of ten. I used this on a 1930-ish C96 Bolo. It fit in the strip-clip slots without any force, slightly loose in the groove. The edge bottoms in the receiver at the same time the dimples on the sides touch the top edge of the receiver. Based on the pictures/instructions/on-line information I gathered, this is exactly where it should sit. When inserted, the stripper-clip holds the bolt back off the follower so the follower can move down freely. It also keeps the finger-snapping bolt back out of the way while shoving the rounds in. Push the rounds in, they stay put, pull the clip out and the bolt is free to close. Great find and optimally priced for a quality vintage accessory!
