Elegant and well-made design. Sensible price, too.
This is as small and as light as promised. The carbon is fantastically inert - no ringing - the metal work sculpted, minimalist and confidence-inspiring, and the twistlocks are the best I have ever used. Stability is excellent. No, this is not a good choice for heavy cameras, long lenses or high winds. Don’t be silly. It weighs under a kilogram all in and packs down to 33cm! It is, however, absolutely perfect for a mirrorless camera. They say the best camera you own is the one you have with you and the same is true of a tripod - this one can fit in a 12 litre day pack. Strongly recommended over alternatives from Gitzo (far, far too expensive) and Manfrotto (questionable construction and poor longevity).
