This item was described as being 28cm in diameter - in fact it is only 22cm inside and 27cm from he edge to edge of the pouring lip. It was supposed to be seasoned ready for use but the food stuck to the bottom and sides of the pan even though it was heated and greased. The handle is not heat proof and therefore I am in danger of burning my hand - my previous cast iron frying pan had a heat proof handle. It can be used in the oven but that is not what I bought it for. I do not recommend it.
