The Fieldmaster watch is a good looking Field/Milatary style wrist watch with a black dial. It's markings include a numbers on the hour markers and a 24hour numbers inside. The markers and the 3 hands appear luminescent with a slightly green/ yellow color. Very distinct and readable. But the lume is very weak and short lived. It has a date window at 3. The date opening is outlined but very small. Somewhat hard to read. The crystal is slightly domed. The case is brushed SS with very good fit and finish. The back light is so dim the only way to see if it's on is in total darkness The crown is push/ pull with checkering for ease of use. The watch shows to be water resistant to 100 meters. The lugs are 22mm with pierced holes for the spring pins. The holes in the lugs are large. In fact too large for normal diameter pins. The normal size push right through. Now for the band. It's a fabric band with metal grommets for the buckle pin. Looks nice. Too bad it's unusable. Too stiff to get the buckle to operate. I don't mean difficult, I mean it doesn't work. There are quite a few negatives in this review. For me I'll keep the watch, change the band and wear it in the daylight because I do like the way it looks and it keeps accurate time. Citizen was really close to a winner with this one. They cut too much of their normal quality to make it more affordable. Check multiple seller if you want one as the price varies a lot.
