This short microphone boom stand by Pulse is robust and professional. Made entirely from metal, it has a folding tripod base and feet with rubber ends for stability. There's a thumb screw to clamp the microphone arm into place and set the height of the base. This product is 460mm in height with a 525mm length boom.

This drum mic stand is ideal Reviews said it was too high and not suitable I used it in a live performance on Sunday afternoon and it was perfect Robust and very good value for money

A solution to using a microphone with Scottish lowland small pipes (pump-driven).
This stand is the best solution to get a Shure SM58 under the chanter of the pipes - worked a treat. In previous years at the same gig I used a standard mike stand with a boom, but there were problems with the boom developing a droop and moving the mike away from the instrument while playing. No problem this time! It's also a more discreet. I quite understand there are more mainstream uses, but necessity is the mother of invention, and this well-made product is a smart and inexpensive solution. Alasdair (sound man) and Alistair (piper)

Good value mic stand
Really good quality for the price. Heavier than I was expecting and sturdy. I plan to use for bass drum mic. It's a bit high but should be fine if angled downwards. Otherwise it would be easy to disassemble and cut the main tube down to make it lower.

Sturdy, stable, excellent for the price
I wasn't expecting much for the price but needed a small mic stand in a hurry. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, which compares well with other more expensive (larger) stands I own. Does a good job supporting a 500g condenser mic and remained stable and sag-free over a lengthy session. I'll certainly look at Pulse products for future purchases.

Pulse Small Mini Boom Microphone Stand
The stand is nice and compact. It is light but very sturdy and of good quality (smaller version of a good quality full size microphone stand). I would recommend this for all sound stage applications eg:- bass drum, acoustic guitar, and other acoustic instruments where needed.

AN IDEAL " STEAL "
THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE STAND FOR POINTING HEAVY KICK DRUM MIKES AT BASS DRUMS AND IS ALSO IDEAL FOR TRAINING A MIKE AT THE RESONANT SNARE DRUM HEAD FROM BENEATH. THE STAND IS WELL DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED AND IS IDEAL. I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT AT THE PRICE THAT I PAYED, THIS QUALITY USUALLY COSTS TWICE AS MUCH !

Pulse Mini Boom Mic Stand
This item is about half the size of a normal mic stand. It is alot more heavier than i expected and built very well beyond what i could have ever imagined for the price. Would definitely recommend for a lifetime of use!

Very good quality
It's really very good quality Mic Stand. Not wobbly, not cheappy, handle easily SM series as larger and heavier condenser mics. Was looking for good mic stand for the amp and this is the one. Very sturdy.

Recommended - very nice product
Nicely made and finished, ridiculously good for the money, this is the 2nd one I bought. They securely hold my pretty heavy bass drum mics, without fuss or moving when the mic cable moves.
