Seems ok for light use
Decided to try a cooperstand after it being recommended to me at a folk session. The stand seems ideal for acoustic instruments and is very compact when folded up. However, the stand is not high enough from the ground to support instruments which have strap locks fitted. The quality of construction is not brilliant, the mouldings have lots of rough edges which does not inspire great confidence. As a professional gigging musician I was looking for a stand which will stand up to life on the road and on stage. The glow in the dark feature should help to locate the stand on dark stages - an essential feature when the stand feels like it would break instantly if it was stood on by accident.
