it looks brand NEW!
this pump is new, or looks it from the cord to the packing . The ad said it was used but the cord looks like it has never been unwrapped , the plug is in the front and the manifold look brand new. I am very happy. The sound is about normal for a pump and this pump is large so I expected it to be louder. Six buckets with 2 stones in each one and they are full of bubbles. LOVE THIS PUMP, and the price with free shipping was very low.

A little loud
This is an awesome pump but definitely louder than I expected! The vibration causes most of the noise, so I anchored to a foam covered base and hung it with rope to help cut down on the vibrations. This helped out but did not eliminate the noise, so be prepared to do plenty of sound proofing!

Liars
The shipper has no idea what they are doing. I’m trying to have a package held by fedex. The shipper has to call fedex to have it held. Fedex says no calls. I’ve been lied to all day. The company claims fedex won’t hold the package. A total lie.

Air pump
This is one of the best buys in moderate volume aquarium air pumps on the market today. It lasts a long time between maintenance and is economical to run.

Excellent
I have compared this pump with another aeror pump at 469.99 and it performed the same if not better. It's a real workhorse and is so quiet you can walk past it and not hear it.
