It's not called a "Silent Brass" for nothing!
My wife plays the trumpet and works full time. Now she can come home from work, relax and have dinner knowing that when she does practice her trumpet later on in the evening she will not disturb anyone. Me watching TV, my daughter doing her home-work or the neighbours. This is not just for anyone who likes playing the trumpet, its for people who don't like listening to the trumpet as well. Fantastic invention.

Good practice mute
The sound that you hear with the headphones is barely distinguishable from the sound of the trumpet itself. The mute gets rid of a lot of the sound. I can practice at night without problem.

Only slightly better than practice mute
Not much of an advantage over a standard practice mute. The mute itself is well made and has a more realistic pressure experience but I am not sure the electric pick adds much.

i would love if all the components were wireless (like with Bluetooth) , a part from that the product is excellent.

Well done YAMAHA, a must have for trumpet players.
I am amazed at this system. Well done YAMAHA! Shame it wasn't out years ago. I can play as normal without disturbing anyone so can concentrate in comfort without any worries about disturbing anyone. The best thing I've bought in years. I can thoroughly recommend any trumpet player to get this excellent product without any worries.
