If I could I would give it 4.75/5. The reason is the cable to the keyboard had damaged outer insulation but all inside conductors were in good shape. I am not sure if there are replacement cables available for those keyboards that have the cable integral to the keyboard.
This and the model F that preceded this should be the gold standard against which all other keyboards measure up to. This keyboard has a build quality that would allow it to be the only surviving keyboards in a Fallout-type situation, in other words it is stout enough to withstand a nuclear strike LOL.
Nothing compares to IBM Model M keyboard. Simply amazing. I've tried tens of membrane keyboards from several brands an also tried some Cherry-MX types but they just do not give that unique feeling and sound as the Model M does.
These things are indestructible. 25 years old and they still work like they did when new. The only drawback is the hard wired cord. The older models had a detachable cord which could be easily replaced if the original wore out.
