On The Third Generation Of This Story
I gobbled this book up as a child...reading and rereading until I had it memorized. I then told the story my younger siblings, creating a memory that 30 years later we all hold. When I had kids of my own, I forgot the name of the story (we always just called it Chicken Legs) but remembered the story and told it to my children. They heard the story so often they in turn memorized it. With the advent of the internet, my daughter tracked the book down and purchased it to read to the children at her day care, all of whom clamored for it at story time. I've purchased copies for my siblings who loved it for the memories it held and now will purchasing for my unborn niece. This story represents over 30 years of history and happiness for my family and hope it goes for another 30 years!

Funny book
I don’t know why, but I loved this book as a kid. I thought it was funny, especially that her house sat on chicken feet and the imagery of her ripping the tub off the floor so she could row across the lake had me giggling. The mention of “Babayaga” in Ant Man and the Wasp made me remember it, so I wanted to share it with my kids. I’m glad it was still available.

Childhood Favorite
As a child, my mom read me this story, and I loved it. Over the years, I lost copies of childhood books, so when I saw this title again, I knew I had to have it. Such a timeless story with great lessons. Very fun and nostalgic. Very happy with this purchase!

Great story
My adult mentally handicapped son loves this story. It is very hard to find a reasonable priced book on cd of this story. It was in very good condition. I haven't listened to it yet because it is a gift for his birthday in August. I received it in a timely manner. Thank you.
