Great bit of kit
Really excellent piece of kit although only used once. One piece didn't seem to be treated the same as the other 3 but I'm sure it will be fine. Make cutting logs really easy and grip any shape log tightly. They do occasionally work loose and need tightening up as you go from chainsaw vibrations but perfect for the job.

One of our best buys ever!!
This is an absolute must have for anyone that wants to saw or chainsaw logs. My sister gave this to my husband for Christmas (on my recommendation) and he absolutely loves it. It really does an excellent job of clamping the logs and holding them firm. Absolutely worth every penny.

Brilliant log jaws - get a set.
Instantly converts a work bench into a safe and stable log holder. Really easy to fit, just tighten the thumbscrews underneath and that’s it. Makes clamping logs ready for sawing up a doddle. No need for a helper anymore and keeps fingers and hands away from needing to hold the logs. The shape is ideal for clamping a range of log sizes and by winding the workbench in and out accommodates virtually anything from big logs to thin branches. The teeth are really good at biting into and gripping the logs nice and solid. Well made, will last a lifetime.

Great idea and a fair price. Works really well. I can see what one reviewer was saying that the quality of the work bench platforms means they might need replacing for a hardwood, but that’s not a major obstacle. You do have to keep 1 foot on the workbench with a particularly long or heavy log but again that’s not a major problem. One of the big advantages is you can remove the claws which take up very little space to store rather than having a dedicated log cutter bench.

Pretty good. not quite top spec.
Pros: Steel is thick, good welding / zinc plating. Cons: U - clamps to go over wooden bench vice are only about 30mm wide. Thumbscrews to attach to workmate have bare metal ends with no feet to spread the load on underside of workmate jaws.

Good but the screw underneath should be on a longer piece of metal
It looks very good to use but it should have a similar length on bottom like top

Great idea, holds logs securely for sawing but don't take up too much room when not in use. They are well made and appear to be very durable.

A good product - recommended
Bought this to help chop and saw some big logs. Good quality, sturdy, with a decent finish that I think will be long lasting. Did everything I wanted it to do, very happy
